“I’m always willing to help others grow their business – especially if it inspires the best in people and glorifies God! 

This is my passion! I enjoy speaking to youth, or people wanting to grow in their faith, or those with an entrepreneurial spirit, and of course anyone who is ready to make a difference the world.  Sometimes, the spark that propels a person into action is just hearing someone else’s story. That’s all. Also, seeing a person who looks like you, do something you’ve always wanted to do, is all a person needs to get started. My story is proof that you should put your faith in God.

I wrote a manuscript, and like most people, I let fear of rejection prevent me from taking a leap of faith. It wasn’t until I took a step back and looked outside of myself that I realized: Sometimes, what God calls you to do isn’t about you at all! Maybe it’s about someone else. Maybe what you’re called to do is strictly to benefit others. I watched the news and each day I kept seeing sadness, violence, confusion, pain, greed, suffering, and none of it made sense to me. How did we get here?? It seemed like the world had grown comfortable with all of it.  I finally pushed my fears to the side and pulled out the manuscript I’d hidden away for so long. This time I was reading it with fresh eyes. When I read the last page, I said, “I have to publish this.”

From then on I prayed about it. I asked God to do what was in His will. I prayed that he would help it reach the right hands. I prayed that the people who helped me edit and publish my book understood my vision and respected my faith. Most importantly, I prayed for The Most High’s help to keep me from getting in my own way! Yes, I could’ve become my own barrier that prevented me from doing His work. I started submitting my work again, and again, some people did not see the value in it.  But this time...I kept pressing forward.

One day, I received an email: “Candace, we absolutely loved your manuscript! We’d like to publish your book.” My prayers were answered sooner than expected! Then more blessings came. In less than a year, “Spiritual Warfare”, the book I was afraid to release, hit the Bestsellers list! Even more amazing than that, were all the inspirational letters, messages, comments, and reviews I received telling me how much the book helped readers renew their faith in God.
